3. Home Screen This is the home screen of protikār. The rectangular box shows the setting options.

4. Home Screen When we click on the general setting, we get a menu with 4 options.

5. Choosing Language Settings We now click on the Language Setting to change the language.

6. Choosing Synchronization To update the software with the latest data, we have to click on synchronization

7. Returning to Home Screen To return to the home screen, we click on the Home button.

8. Home Screen When we click on the general setting, we get a menu with options. Click on Supplier.

9. Adding Supplier Tap on the brown squared button to add supplier information.

10. Adding Stock against the Supplier This menu will show the total list of suppliers and their information. To add a stock list for a supplier, click/tap on the suppliers name to open a pop-up box with Supplier Options.

11. Adding Fertilizer Information The information needed for pesticides are shown in the boxes

12. Viewing Stock To see all the list of pesticides added or stocks available, we click on “Stock” option.

13. New Recommendation/Registering a Farmer To add farmers, we press “New Recommendation” from the Home screen

15. Recommendation Input (Land) Topics under land information are: Location: Location for the field Type of land: Whether the land is high, low or medium Land size: The size of the land to be cultivated

16. Recommendation Input (Harvest Detail) Topics under Harvest Details are: Crop Type: Variety of Crop that is to be cultivated by the farmer, that is Rice (for Cambodia) Crop Stage: Which stage of life cycle the crop is in. Symptoms: The signs or indications shown in the plant

17. Crop Symptoms Once we click on Crop Symptoms, the list of symptoms found in rice plant will appear. From that list, we have to chose the symptom that matches with our plant’s symptoms

18. RecommendationsRecommendations The recommendation screen shows the disease name, the curative and the preventive recommendation

19. Print Preview and Saving Recommendation This is the recommendation print view of protikār. We can also save recommendation in our device by clicking the button or print the recommendation by pressing

20. SMS Options The recommendation can be sent as SMS from the device.

21. Email Options The recommendation can be sent as email from the device.

22. Viewing a Farmer’s Recommendation History In order to view a list of farmers who have taken protikār ’s recommendations, we can click on the brown box shown here.
