3. VASS Blue sheet check Have you notified the College you are studying a subject outside of St. Bede’s (Eg. Language on a Saturday) Do you want your 40+ to go in the paper at the end of the year? Did you put yes on the blue sheet? Are you studying VET outside of school? The paper work must go to Ms. Gamble

4. Forms ALT SAC request – used when absent or need special provision If you know in advance, you should fill in the form before absence If you are unwell, you need evidence of absence – NOTE at the end of the year, if you are sick, you still have to sit the exam.

5. Forms Student at risk – used to inform parents if you are not working and it is likely to impact your ability to successfully complete the VCE Provisional “N” – used when SACs have not met a minimum standard to demonstrate knowledge and must be redone Forms need to be returned to VCE Coordinator

6. From the VCAA Satisfactory VCE Unit Result The student receives S for a unit when all the outcomes are achieved A student must: – Produce work that demonstrates achievement of the outcome/s – Observe school and VCAA rules If a teacher judges that all outcomes are achieved, the student satisfactorily completes the unit. The decision to award an ‘S’ for the unit is distinct from the assessment of levels of achievement.

Statistical moderation Used to ensure an even playing field between schools with different SACs The only independent test is the exam You SAC score provides your ranking in the school and is used to work out your moderated score Your goal is to be the best in the school and do the best in the exam
