A, The effect of type of hearing loss was demonstrated for a patient with conductive hearing loss tested at 2 occasions (occasion 1, permanent low- frequency hearing loss; occasion 2, temporary deterioration). The audiograms display air-conduction ASSR, air-conduction behavioral, and bone-conduction behavioral thresholds. B, The effect of configuration was examined for ears with sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL). The audiograms present mean air-conduction ASSR and behavioral thresholds for flat (n = 23 ears) and sloping (n = 11 ears) audiometric configurations.
