1. Going to UPK

2. This fall, I will be going to UPK.

3. I might ride the bus or I might ride in a car.

4. This is what my school looks like.

5. These are my teachers at UPK.

6. Here is my classroom at UPK.

7. When I get to my classroom, I will put my backpack in my cubby. If I wore a coat or a hat or anything else, I will put that in the cubby too.

8. There are lots of things to do at my school. I will play with my friends there every day.

9. We will also have circle. At circle the teacher will read us a book and I will learn about the days of the week and the weather.

10. If the weather is nice, I will go outside to play on the playground too.

11. We eat snack at UPK every day. Our snack might be cereal or yogurt or crackers or something else yummy.

12. My UPK also has a bathroom that I can use if I need to.

13. I will remember to wear my sneakers in UPK every day. I will stay safe when I wear my sneakers.

14. When it’s time to go, I will put my backpack on and anything else that I wore to UPK that day.

15. When UPK is done, I might ride a bus or a car home or to a babysitter. My mom or dad will let me know what I am going to do.

16. I might stay at Learn As You Grow and go to my daycare classroom. My mom or dad will tell me if I will do that.

17. I’m happy I will be going to UPK! I will learn lots of new things, meet new friends, and have fun!!!!!
