2. Do List Color…Don’t just state it give it an emotion Light…How does it make you feel? Connotation…Put yourself in the picture Purpose…What is the purpose of the picture…What is it suppose to make you feel? Make me see it!

3. Of Mice and Men Picture Poem Look at the book cover. What does the color, lighting, and positioning tell us? Why do you think they are in nature? Write a poem describing the cover of the novel. It must be at least 5 lines long. There needs to be at least one color and light reference.

4. Find Your Muse Find a picture at home, or come by tomorrow to cut one out of a magazine. Pick one picture to write a poem on. Why did you pick this picture? Tell the story of the picture in your poem. What do you see happening?
