3 WHAT EXACTLY IS ? Appearance and dress make up an important area of non-verbal interpersonal communication and under certain conditions may constitute a major determination of reaction and perception in social interaction.

4 THE IMPORTANCE OF APPEARANCE IN SOCIETY
Two basic functions of outfit: evidence of a person (who is) and his/her adaptation to the environment. Thanks to it we are able to assess the age, wealth, competence or character of a person. The image formed by the body, attitude and outfit speaks to us before we say the first word . When someone dresses in a way close to our, we believe that he or her has similar views, beliefs and profess similar values. By this means we have a direct impact on our image in the eyes of other people.

5 STEREOTYPICAL APPEARANCE
In psychology, is known halo effect - assigning a positive (or negative) characteristics of a person who has been previously assessed by us as a positive (or negative). Nice people we can trust faster, more willing to give them help and often recognize them as good people. Attractive people are often seen as more likeable and nice. Less often, however, we ask them for the help.

29 Dress code is quite a new term in our Polish cultural reality
Dress code is quite a new term in our Polish cultural reality. Specifies a set of rules which should guide us in the selection of clothes to work. Officials, office workers, employees of large companies and corporations are not allowed to dress freely to work. Their attire must be adapted to the requirements of supervisor, his position, image and policy.

36 This what we wear to work should be classic and elegant, it must emphasize our personality and interact with company policy. Some companies, in order to avoid confusion in costumes and mistakes in their selection, have special uniforms that highlight the company's image.

37 DRESS CODE AT WORK As we learn that the dress code for work are extremely important, rules put more stringent conditions. The label is the use of modest clothing wardrobe. What we wear to work should be simple and neat, so as to focus attention on the face. The outfit may improve contact with people but primarily defines our credibility and has a great impact on the assessment of the employee by the bosses.

dark subdued colors - enhance the prestige and associated with seriousness metallic - glamor and wealth bright, vivid - dynamism and activity pastel colors - finesse and delicacy blue inspires confidence colours of interest are: gray, dark brown, dark chocolate, vanilla, blue, black used in moderation, beige, burgundy, dark green and pastels.
