3 General Details Across the board increase of 2.5% per year for three years. Begins October 31, 2011 Contract expires June 30, 2014

4 Details Article 706 (New) The following people are excluded from the terms & conditions of the NCA: –Ceo’s, President or other equivalent title of the company –Employees at their usual place of business –Employees making a claim (ie.Westjet) –Lottery/Contest Winners and members of their immediate family

5 Details In all cases of the above, with the exception of employees at their usual place of business, the excluded ‘Performer’ must identify him/herself by means of a super or stated claim. To cover Accident on Set Insurance the Engager must fill out a contract, mark the person and role as an exclusion and submit the 1% to ACTRA. Article 706 Continued

6 Details Articles 1804 and 1805 A 1.5 % increase in Market Unit rates for Wild Spot and Network Use (including Short Life)  To be calculated prior to adding in general increase Market Units

7 Article 1811 Other Languages  Session and Use fees are reduced by 20%.  This includes two language versions per commercial. Details

8 Article 1818 Television Commercials used in other Media  Payable now at 10 market units instead of 5  An increase of 13% but only applicable if you are not concurrently broadcasting the spot. Details

9 Article 1819 Specialty and Cable Use payments are now 10 market units If commercial is running but not in all markets covered by specialty and cable, no additional payment required provided that 24 units are paid for Details

10 Article 1820 New Media Performers now paid 50% of session fees (subject to general increases). 4 hour session If you go beyond 4 hrs – then full session and use fees apply Still no Contract Service fees payable Details

11 Article 1820 New Media Broadcast commercials used in New Media( Moveover) Pre paid option Engager at time of engagement for TV, can contract Performers for use in both media. Moveover Use fee = 2 session payments if prepaid. Payment is guaranteed Prepayment is not renewable. Details

12 Article 1820 Members of the Public Waiver  2 days before production provide an outline to ACTRA to shoot undirected/unscripted street scenes provided  Waiver is $100.00  Includes members of the public reacting to an event, provided that the event is not staged for the purposes of making a commercial Details

13 Article 1907 Allowable changes  If Performer makes more than 25 (previously 20)changes for the same commercial at the same session, additional changes beyond 25 shall not be paid for. Details

14 CFM – New Deal Three Year deal starting upon ratification (Nov. 5, 2011)  3% Year One  2.5% Year Two  2.5% Year Three  1% on Pension and Welfare Fund

15 CFM – New Deal Commercials used on Advertisers’ website can be used as per ACTRA rules and regulations. Commercials moved over to New Media Pay 50% of National rate includes first cycle Pay 50% of National Re-Use fees for 2 nd and subsequent cycles Unlimited sites

16 CFM – New Deal Commercials made for New Media Pilot Project paid at the rate of $230 for the first 6 months of use –unlimited sites. 2 nd and subsequent cycles are paid at the rate of $155.00 The advertiser must buy a year
