12. How a switch works.

13. Every circuit starts from the battery, because the battery provides the power. The switch allows the circuit to be broken, which means that makes the switch work. After the power has gone through the wires to the bulb, the light switches on!

16. Now we had a circuit. That’s how we made every switch in the house! Who knew that making a house and making a load of circuits would be so much fun! We started off with just a box, and a lot of card board around us! Then we all started making things, like the microwave and the oven and everything that was going to go around it. After that we attached all there circuits like this: -First we poked a little hole where the appliance was going, and stuck the bulb in. -We then sticky taped the wires from the bulb to where the battery was going to be placed. -After that we stuck the battery to the end of wires and added a paperclip so that the wires could be moved and at the flick of a switch, a light would go on. Now we had a circuit. That’s how we made every switch in the house! Who knew that making a house and making a load of circuits would be so much fun!

17. STEP 7 Make some changes

18. Because we had to make changes to improve it, we made another level. We now have a kitchen AND a living room. We have put a TV on the wall, and a couple of couches and tables on the floor. We have attached a circuit on the back of the TV so that also turns on. All we actually used this whole project was: 2 card board boxes -Sticky Tape -Scissors -Cardboard -Baking paper -Batteries -Light bulbs -Texta -Material -Foil And that’s it. 
