2 2 PIAC – Manitoba IVR poll Methodology Environics conducted an Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) telephone survey of 1,048 residents of Manitoba age 18 and over on May 31 and June 1, 2016. 789 surveys were conducted by landline and 259 were completed by cell phone. The data are statistically weighted by age and gender to reflect the demographic makeup of Manitoba according to the 2011 Census. The margin of error for a sample of 1,048 is plus or minus 3.2 percentage points (at the 95% confidence level). The reader is cautioned that margins of error are larger for subsamples of the population (e.g., for gender, age groups). In this report, results are expressed as percentages unless otherwise noted. Results may not add to 100% due to rounding or multiple responses.
