2 Enabling Grids for E-sciencE INFSO-RI-508833 Status of BLAH 2 Current status Both stable (currently v1.12.x) and unstable (currently v1.13.y) versions of ‘org.glite.ce.blahp’ are maintained. –The stable branch should see just bug fixes –The unstable branch is for previewing features of the next stable version series Currently supported batch systems: PBS, LSF and Condor –For PBS and LSF: remote log parser servers on the batch system servers can be deployed to expedite status retrieval. –Condor support is achieved via local ‘job registry’ and local commands only. Integrated with both CREAM and Condor (where it serves as ‘the’ interface to batch systems).

3 Enabling Grids for E-sciencE INFSO-RI-508833 Status of BLAH 3 Features added to next version Due to appear in the 1.14.x stable series (timeframe: end of May): –Support of SGE (er, should it be called OGE already ?) as contributed by CESGA. –Support of all batch systems via local job registry (for efficient status queries without log parser support) –Support of multiple user-mapping mechanism (currently glexec and sudo) –Support of proxy subject storage in registry (for Christoph Witzig’s favourite lookup-by-subject tool) –Command line tool to look jobs up by proxy subject, as requested by Christoph Witzig. –More extended support of local submit command parameter setup.
