2 Weighing Your Options What do you want to study? Does your school offer that as a major? Do you have specific subject in mind, like science, music, or do you want a more general education? Are you interested in a career that even needs a college degree? More than anything, are you mentally prepared to take on college life? Are you financially prepared for college?

3 Making a Decision After weighing all your options, you need to make a decision, if it is still college, you have to move on to the next step. Picking your major; this is the hardest part for most college students. Your major may change throughout your first two years of school. Which is completely fine you just have to be sure by the third year you are somewhat into your major, because this is the time when your working toward it most.

4 University of Louisville After weighing mostly all options I would want to go to a large in-state college. One that has a prestige reputation, both for Science majors and Law. The two majors I would be interested in.

5 University of Louisville School Costs: Residential: $405.00 per class – $986.00 per semester Nonresidential: $4,875.00 per semester – 11,819.00 full year Meal plans: All residents are required to participate in the Meal Plan Program. Residents living in a room with no kitchen will participate in the $1,460* meal plan. Residents living in apartments with kitchens will participate in the $930* meal plan. Parking: All resident wishing to bring their car to campus will need to purchase a parking permit. To obtain a permit, you will need to bring with you your housing confirmation letter.

9 Majoring in Law Biology Undergraduate Information: To be admitted into the law program you would have to complete 90 semester hours. Which can be completed on either a fulltime or part-time schedule. All students admitted must maintain a 2.0 or above in all classes. LSAT: An important factor determining in getting into law school is the Law School Admission Test. Take your initial LSAT one to two years prior to your planned entry to ensure that you Undergraduate Information: There are applications to be completed before you can start your major. Requirements- compare BioL240, BioL242, BioL244 or the equivalent courses in another institution. Having a grade point average of 2.0 or better in all classes.

11 Degree Planning Law 2 nd, 3 rd, 4 th year students are encouraged to take classes that customize their curriculum w/ a range if seminars, and externship experiences. Normally takes about a full 7 years to earn a masters degree in law. 3 years fulltime 4 years part-time Also there are ways to graduate in just 5 years by turning your last 4 years part-time into 2 fulltime years. Biology Your grades in all declare yourself as a biology major- by going online at the end of your freshman year. This allows you to be advised by a faculty member in biology. Apply for an Arts & Science preliminary degree check. Are enrolled in the college of arts Sciences Pursuing a degree offered by the college of Arts & Sciences Have completed 90 credit hours toward a Bachelor’s degree. Takes normally about 8 years to complete.
