10 My Mindset I believe students learn in different ways and have different styles of learning. I believe that teachers are responsible for individualizing instruction, motivating students to learn and finding ways to assess student learning in an authentic way. I believe that reflection and continued learning is absolutely essential for all teachers.

Benefits: ◦ Very basic audio recording, but can be used for advanced audio work as well. ◦ Good for teachers to record class i.e. multiple absent students in one day or a review session. ◦ Student projects: student can create radio shows. ◦ Students can listen on their iPod's or over the computer. If there is not an available set of flashcards, users can also create their own individual set, to meet their academic needs. 16 ScreenCast-O-Matic What is it? Video capturing software, that copies what is displayed on the computer screen and turns it into video. Benefits:  Students learn at own pace, can watch clips at any time.  Flipped classroom idea, where lecture is homework and practice/homework is done in class with teacher.  Teacher is working more with each student and his/her individual needs.  Can also use it to record the classroom that day and then post online as a video file or on YouTube for students to watch at home.
