1 FAITHFULLY “RUNNING THE RACE” ENDURANCE IN THE MIDST OF TRIALS, TRIBULATIONS, AND SUFFERING A Different perspective on Suffering:  Jesus is clearly loved by the Father, and He suffered greatly  Jesus did not flee from suffering or resist it; He faced it with JOY  Jesus endured suffering for the joy of loving us – do we love Him?
