15 School Social Workers provide a broad spectrum of services in support of special education, as well as regular education. There is a growing focus on early intervention for students academically and behaviorally, consistent with NCLB.

16 School Social Workers...  Act as a liaison between the student, family, and school to identify community resources to assist students and their families  Complete Sociocultural assessments for Special Education eligibilities  Identify the need for and facilitate groups contingent upon student need to assist them in their academic setting
