2. Introduction The Sy/Max PLC is used to control most of the machine processes in the Kingman Plant. The PLC is used both for controlling and monitoring system processes, as well as gathering data about the machine or process, (counts, running time, etc.).

3. Introduction The PLCs have two modes Run and Halt. The software also has two modes Offline and Online and within these modes you can Monitor and Program. The PLC uses what is called Ladder Logic to run the programs functions.

5. Introduction The software is used to view or change the program file in the PLC. There are currently two types of software that we use with the Sy/Max PLCs.

6. Introduction to SYMATE PLUS The first is SYMATE PLUS, which is load on the Electrical Shop PC and the Electrical Shops Laptop.
