3 Aims and Objectives of Accelerator Lab To extend state of the art ion beam facility to the international/national researchers to use the milli, micro and nanometer size beams of different ions and enhance the understanding of experimental knowledge of ion matter interaction.

4 An Overview of 5MV Pelletron Tandem Accelerator 5 MV Terminal Voltage Dual Ion Sources – SNICS ( Source of Negative Ions by Cesium Sputtering) for wide range of light and heavy ions generation – RF source for He ion generation Ions Energies – 10 MeV for Protons, 15 MeV for He++ – Useful currents for heavy ions to over 50 MeV Two beamlines - 15 degree beamline for Materials Analysis/materials modifications - 30 degree beamline for Ion Scattering/Nuclear Physics

9 Ion beam analysis (RBS, PIXE, NRA, ERDA, PIGE and ion channeling ) Facilitate researchers from different national Universities and institutes to analysis their samples (environment, thin film, single crystal, bulk, biological, samples) We can facilitate you to analyze your samples Because we have experts to use different Data analysis software like XRUMP, SIMNRA, GUPIX, DataFurnace to analyze samples.
