7. Network Related Devices HUB: It connected a number of ICT machine. In a same network all the computers are connected by hub. It sends any information to all the computers even the sender. It is cheap to create small network. SWITCH: It is used to create a network. Several networks are connected by switch. The connection can identify separately by node. Switch allocates different address for every node and work faster than hub for using separate address.

8. Network Related Devices Modem: The most important device to of being connected to the internet through telephone line is modem. Modem stands between the connection point of computer and internet. In initial stage it was known as dial-up modem. Now DSL modem replace it and Wi-Fi modem is used in a great number. ROUTER: It connected two active network. The main job is router is to show the route of data or information. A huge number of routers are active in the Internet now.

9. LAN Card: It connected two or more network. It is necessary to exchange data or information. It plays the role of interpreter. Two types of modem are available built-in and external. Network Related Devices

10. Satellite Satellite: Satellite moves round the earth while floating on the space. The signals can be sent through the radio, TV, mobile phone and the Internet. Sometimes it remains motionless in a place in the sky, which is called Geo-stationary.

11. Optical Fibre Optical Fibre: It is a kind of glass rod. Electric cable sends electric signals. Satellite wireless signal is sent to the Optical Fibre by changing it into light which is infrared and cannot be visible.
