It is assumed that all 5,000 additional enrollments will graduate from medical school in 2019 and go on to become active physicians. Assuming the increase in enrollment continues in 2016 and all additional enrollments graduate and go on to become active physicians, supply will increase by another 5,000 physicians in 2020.
