2. DiDA – Website creation Use of multimedia 0 marks – Images are not well thought out and are low quality. They do not enhance the work. 1-3 marks – Images are suitable and tend to be high quality (with one or two exceptions). Images are used to enhance the work but may be too much on some pages. 4-6 marks – Images are well chosen and are all high quality. Images are edited to help them blend in with the work. The background is well chosen and has substantial editing. 7-9 marks – Images fit in with the topic and enhance the quality of the work. Images tend to be edited. For 9 marks the images should make the work feel professional.

3. DiDA – Website creation Suitability for audience 0 marks – There is no clear audience and no attempt has been made to try and sell the product. 1-3 marks – Some attempt has been made to sell the product and/or some attempt has been made to make the work suitable for a target audience. 4-6 marks – Both audience and purpose are clear but their may be some problems. The layout as well as the conent are used to make the work suitable. 7-9 marks – There is clear audience and purpose and the work has been carefully tailored. For full marks the work should be professional.

Has no links or menu and no thought has been given to the navigation 1-2 marks – There is a good navigation system and some attempt has been made to use a background effectively. All of the main elements of a website are present. Pages should be consistent but layout may change in the main section. 3-4 marks – The website is effectively presented and all of the main elements are present and used to enhance the work. Content should be tailored to fit in within a website medium. All pages and elements within a page should be consistent. 5 marks – The work should have a professional feel. It should use ideas gained from professional websites to create an effective product website.

5. DiDA – Website creation Review 0 Marks – Review is a commentary of what was done. 1-2 marks – Student has made some good observations of what is good about their work or they have discussed some good alterations which need to be made 3-4 – Students have made clear evaluative comments on what was good about their work and also what should be improved. For 4 marks they should be providing clear evidence. 5 marks – Evaluation is well structured and shows how improvements could be implements. All comments should be backed with evidence.
