2 Program Overview Texas.gov is the official state website for Texas, providing online payment functionality to government at the state and local level. This public private partnership is managed through a DIR contract with Texas NICUSA. Texas NICUSA provides: Application development Help Desk/Service Desk Operations Outreach and Marketing DIR provides: Program Management Governance and oversight Strategic direction and policy Review and approval of new projects Budget and fee approval Enterprise level coordination

4 Services The Texas.gov program provides portal and payment services for Texas state agencies and other government customers to cost-effectively conduct business with citizens. Examples include: Driver license renewals Driver records Occupational licenses and permits Birth, death and marriage certificates Vehicle registration renewals
