2. Program Overview Texas.gov is the official state website for Texas, providing online payment functionality to government at the state and local level. This public private partnership is managed through a DIR contract with Texas NICUSA. Texas NICUSA provides: Application development Help Desk/Service Desk Operations Outreach and Marketing DIR provides: Program Management Governance and oversight Strategic direction and policy Review and approval of new projects Budget and fee approval Enterprise level coordination

4. Services The Texas.gov program provides portal and payment services for Texas state agencies and other government customers to cost-effectively conduct business with citizens. Examples include: Driver license renewals Driver records Occupational licenses and permits Birth, death and marriage certificates Vehicle registration renewals
