14th DURING THE YEAR Cycle B Listening to "Ad Faciem" by Buxtehude, let’s caress the beloved face of Jesus, that those of Nazareth despise Regina

After a series of miracles, Mark (within the theology of the cross, not of glory) tells us that Jesus is repudiated in the synagogue of his hometown Nazareth synagogue

Nazareth. Jesus is amazed at the lack of FAITH of his own Jesus House Synagogue

Mk 6:1-6 He went away from there and came to his hometown, and his disciples followed him. And on the Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue,

His people only know him from a worldly point of view, from now on we regard no one according to the flesh (2 Cor 5:16) Jesus returns to his hometown, where he lived until age 30 Jesus returns to his hometown, where he lived until age 30 http://www.nazarethvillage.com/http://www.nazarethvillage.com/ Pictures of "Nazareth Village" a replica of the town of Nazareth in the time of Jesus (north of Nazareth)

and many who heard him were astonished, saying, "Where did this man get these things? What is the wisdom given to him? How are such mighty works done by his hands?

Sometimes we do not believe that ordinary people can be exceptional True Wisdom does not depend on the outside, but from the heart

Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?" And they took offense at him.

Are were scandalized of them and not of those who exclude them? Perhaps Jesus is as one of the outcasts of our consumer society

And Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household."

The great lessons of life are given in daily activity, not in exceptional works Prophets speak with works, not with the appearance

And he could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them. And he marveled because of their unbelief.

“Show me what kind of person you are, and I will show you my God.” (Theophilus of Antioch) Without FAITH, miracles are not seen

And he went about among the villages teaching.

Let’s spread the gospel with our way of living It is the most important task we have in our hands Jezreel Valley (Galilee)

Jesus of Nazareth, grant us to dignify our daily work, for discovering human values, we meet again the ETERNAL ones
