2 The ETL Listed Mark A product bearing an ETL Listed Mark has been tested by Intertek and meets the minimum requirements of U.S. or Canadian electrical safety standards A product bearing an ETL Listed Mark reflects a manufacturers dedication to the safety and quality of their products

3 Intertek’s North American Recognitions United States – Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) – Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) – Scope of recognition includes 14 test sites and 500+ standards Canada – Standards Council of Canada (SCC) – Accredited Testing Organization – Accredited Certification Body Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ’s) - – Recognized by AHJ’s and local inspectors throughout North America – AHJ’s are required by law to recognize, acknowledge, and accept the ETL Listed Mark as proof of product compliance

4 NRTL accreditation is the benchmark for excellence for product safety certification laboratories in the United States. Laboratories are accredited by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and then audited by OSHA for continued accreditation. An NRTL must be qualified both to test products and to certify products. 5 Why the ETL Listed Mark? We do have a choice in our testing and certification provider. Intertek’s typical turnaround time on electrical safety testing and certification is 15-days. This includes the report, too. The ETL Listed Mark is accepted by all major retailers.
