CMA (Managerial Accountant) Produce Cost and Management Accountants Focus on Budgeting and Costing Mostly Common in Industrial and Manufacturing Sector Managerial Accountant may only prepare reports weekly, daily or monthly Managerial accountancy follows the rules made by individual companies or organizations CA and CPA both produce financial Accountants financial accountant works within and outside the organization focusing on financial matters like preparation of financial reports, analysis of ratio, dealing with bank handling taxation matters, conduct audit. Mostly common in financial and all other sectors except industrial & manufacturing concerns. Financial accountants submits a report periodically Financial accountancy follow the regulations of the standard setting body all over the world like IASB and IFRS. CA and CPAs Difference is CA is inherited from UK while CPA inherited from USA CA Syllabus only covers Financial Accounting, Taxation and Auditing. CPA syllabus covers four specialization F/A, Taxation, and Auditing, managerial accounting, forensic and fraud examination, Banking/Risk Management, and HR Accounting and Finance.

12 Admission Criteria The candidates who hold a bachelor degree (14 years of education) in any of the disciplines i.e. B.Com, B.A, BBA & BSc are eligible to apply in CPA program. The admissions are taken throughout the year as CPA is a distance learning program. The registered candidates are provided with monthly newsletters, assignments, past papers, Study Notes and course material during their semester. The exams are conducted twice a year in June and in December of every year in all major cities of Pakistan and Abroad.
