2 Towards Modernism involves covering the following movements Neo-classicism – David, Ingres, Canova Romanticism - Gericault, Delacroix Realism - Courbet, Millet, Daumier, Rodin Impressionism - Manet, Monet, Renoir, Degas, Cassatt, Morisot Neo-impressionism - Seurat, Signac Post-impressionism - van Gogh, Gauguin, Cezanne Art Nouveau and Architectural Revivalism

3 Our focus is predominantly of 19 century French art, beginning with the French Revolution in the late 18 century …
