1 Louisiana Wetlands A Web Quest for 3 rd Grade Subject: Science

2 Introduction Have you ever visited a wet land in Louisiana? If so, what have you seen? In this web quest, you will be searching through websites to find interesting facts about the animals, plants, and human interaction with the land.

3 TASK As a group, look through the websites that will be listed and be sure to take notes on the what you find most interesting and write down some fun facts about it. After you are done researching, you are to make a power point with the information you wrote down. Be sure to make each slide a different topics and list plenty of interesting facts Make the power points original and be sure to be ready to share it in front of class.

4 THE PROCESS 1. Look at the websites with your group and agree on topics you want to talk about 2. After gathering information, make a power point as a group, remember to include all group members and let everyone help out. Putting pictures is acceptable, but don’t forget to also type the information. 3. When you are done, review the power point and deicide who is going to say what in class. Remember, everyone must say something in front of class!
