3. RULE FOR PLURALS: 1. Most nouns form plurals by adding –s to the end  Example= room, rooms 2. Nouns that end with “y” change the “y” to –ies  Example= cherry, cherries 3. Nouns that end with “vowel + y” end in “s” * Example= monkey, monkeys

4. MORE WITH PLURALS 4. Nouns that end with “fe” and “f” change the –ves  Examples= leaf, leaves and knife=knives *exception* words that end in “ff” as in “cliff” just add “s”- cliffs 5. Using a highlighter, mark all the plural words in each sentences. You must use at least TEN. 3. (Challenge!) Can you think of TEN words that end in “s” that are NOT already plural? Change them to their correct plural ending.
