Only the agreed upon Criterion will be filled in and scored

Score is from one Criterion (1, 2, 4, 5, or 7) AND Criterion 3 or 6

S ELF A SSESSMENT Can be completed in a variety of ways – this is just one tool that can be used When you Finalize it, your Evaluator will be able to see it Not required to share the actual Self-Assessment It is required that you share the results – strengths and areas for professional growth

Can choose 1 or all Domains This is the Self Assessment, even though it says Start Observation Next year, you’ll be able to choose whether to use the rubric organized by CEL5D+ or State 8 Criteria

When you select a rating, the rubric explanation will show Not required, but can use this area for your own notes, or comments for evaluator The NEXT button will take you through each dimension Use the Save and Return button to leave; evaluator cannot see until you’ve finalized

Using this button saves for just you By Finalizing, your evaluator can see and review assessment

Evaluator View: Can see the comments you’ve included and scan to see areas you feel you need to grow and where you’re doing well

A DDING D OCUMENTS Evidence not seen in observations One tool to gather evidence in one place and have readily available for evaluations Not required to be used If you attach to Rubric or to specific criteria, then Evaluator will see that when they start an Observation or Evaluation

Tells evaluator there is something related to this criterion Can see it and click disk to open and review

O BSERVATIONS Receiving notification Providing feedback Coding Snapshot of evidence, not necessarily scoring Can be scored by administrator, provides formative assessment opportunities

You can view by Scripting (chronological) or Coding

You can use this tab to add Feedback to your Evaluator if there is something you feel you need to answer. This is optional and not all Evaluators will want you to use it. Glad you asked about that student. He has an IEP that allows him to leave when needed, as long as he shows me his special pass. It is quite small so other kids can’t observe it, but it lets me know he’s stepping out for a minute. If he doesn’t return within a couple of minutes, then I call the office to ensure he’s made it there until he’s ready to return.

Administrator may respond back as well. Another way to record evidence related to observation.

E VALUATION Scoring and documents provided in separate session Similar to Observation, will receive email when Finalized Pivot does not allow insertion of tables or paragraphs, so some Evaluators may do all coding and scoring in Pivot but include the last pages as separate Word Document.

These numbers indicate how many times this criterion was rated, NOT score Summative Results arranged by Dimensions

Criteria Scores arranged by WA State 8 Criteria
