2. 4) How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages? Research For my research, I used many technologies. Using Google and YouTube helped me to see what I needed to aim for when created all of my products. Google helped me to search anything I needed to know about creating a TV advert. Google also helped me to create a questionnaire in which I uploaded into my blog. I used Google Script to create this. This allowed me to gain feedback from any visitors on my blog and also my fellow classmates. YouTube then allowed me to watch TV adverts and allowed me to take note of conventions used within all of the adverts in which I watched. This allowed me to set a target for myself so that I could achieve to my highest potential. I found this extremely helpful, as without these, I could not research anything to help me with this work. There were a few problems along the way when it came to the research. Loss of Internet connection was the biggest problem for me. Whenever the Internet was down, we were slightly sidetracked and had to move onto another task.

3. Planning For my planning, I also used many technologies. These include Scribd, Blogger and Microsoft Word. Microsoft Word was the foundation for all of my planning. Everything I planned went into a Word document, which was then transferred onto my blog using Blogger. I developed many of my planning materials such as my flat plans, which I did not need any technology to create. I also created a shot list, a shooting schedule and a shoot locations list using Microsoft Word that I then put into Scribd and the uploaded it onto my blog. There were only a few minor problems that occurred when using these technologies. When using Scribd, sometimes my documents would not upload properly therefore I had to keep retrying until the problem was resolved.

4. Construction When finally constructing my products, I used a combination of different technologies. These technologies include Final Cut, Fireworks, Blogger, Audacity, Scribd and YouTube. Final cut was the main technology I used as it allowed us to upload my video clips onto the computer and edit together my advert. Fireworks allowed me to create my web pop up with ease. Audacity made it easier for us to record our radio adverts and import them as an mp3 file. Scribd allowed me to upload any work documents and make them look more presentable to upload onto my blog using Blogger. And finally YouTube made it easy for us to upload our final TV adverts and then gave us a URL that we could upload onto our blogs. There were a few minor setbacks along the way. When first using Final Cut, we were unsure of how to use it properly. We resolved this issue by researching tutorials and step-by-step guides. There was another alternative to Final Cut call iMovie. We did not use this program as Final Cut gives everything a more professional finish.

5. Evaluation When creating the evaluation, the only technologies in which I used was Microsoft Word and Scribd. I typed up all of this evaluation on Microsoft Word so I can then upload it on Scribd and then onto my blog. When creating this evaluation, I did not encounter any problems along the way. There were other alternatives to using Scribd, however I chose Scribd as I am familiar with the program and it would make it easier.
