6. It is BCU Policy that volunteers should be paid expenses when they attend meetings. We need to be clear whilst encouraging people to claim (what they then do with the money is up to them). Particularly we need to be clear about RDT membership Expenses

7.  If volunteers are attending an event where income goes to North East Region they claim expenses against region  If members of RDT – officers, discipline reps, club reps, RCO & LCOs attend meetings/events of RDT or to represent the RDT they claim from North East Region  If people are attending CE events to represent their club or discipline they claim from CE Proposals

9. 1.Promote Surf Kayaking to all paddlers in the north east region via a taster day 2.Develop 6 paddlers (current 3* Inland or Sea standard who are volunteers within Canoe England affiliated clubs) from the region to 4* Surf standard 3.Develop 6 paddlers from Wansbeck Paddle Sports Club to 4* Surf standard 4.Hold formal 4* Surf training for 12 paddlers 5.Have a minimum of 12 paddlers from the north east entering the a Surf Kayak competition in February 2013 6.To host a BCU Surf Committee Surf Fest in March 2013 including 4* Surf Assessment Surf Strategy Summary

11. In terms of attending the meeting and uploading the content though, I’m afraid I won’t be able to make the meeting or upload much more content than I do currently, as I’ve now moved out of the North East and also have a full-time job in addition to my web company, meaning I’m pretty flat out. I can certainly set up multiple additional user accounts though for other people to add content. You just need to find some willing volunteers! Regional Website
