13 Immigration and Naturalisation Service13 Exchange Au pair: 18-26 years, unmarried, no children in care purpose of stay must be to learn about Dutch society reside with a host family for whom he or she has not previously worked carry out light domestic work (maximum of 30 hours wk) in return Exchange programs with Canada, Australia, New Zealand (Working Holiday Program, Working Holiday scheme, Young Workers Exchange program) and other recognised exchange organisations. Residence permit for 1 year, no renewal.

16 Immigration and Naturalisation Service16 Principles Modern Migration Policy The Modern Migration Policy will completely reform the (non-asylum) immigration policy Policy objectives: To be selective Simplifying procedures More responsibilities for sponsors Effective supervision and visible enforcement (fraud resistant) Less administrative burden National policy within European framework
