Do you ever wake up on a cold, winter morning and just not want to leave your warm, comfortable bed?

Here’s what I think the problem is… I don’t like getting out of bed just to put on cold clothing that has been sitting all night in a drafty closet or dresser drawer. It’s quite an unpleasant feeling first thing in the morning. As if waking up early isn’t bad enough by itself, we also have to cope with frigid temperatures? And I know I’m not alone on this…

But what other options do we have? Are we to sleep in our clothes? Put our clothing in an inefficient, energy-consuming dryer? Just stay in bed all day and let life pass us by? In other words, go into hibernation like animals? None of these are practical solutions.

But what what about… A device that required no outside power source, instead using your own body heat to warm up your clothing before you wake up, so that you can enjoy comfortable, dryer- fresh clothing on those chilly mornings? Sounds to good to be true, huh? Well, take a look…

The automated bio-thermal apparel warming device Doesn’t the name just roll off the tongue?

The thermal receptor pad fits right on your mattress and discreetly under the bed sheets. It absorbs your body heat while you sleep, converts it to electricity, and transfers it to the central unit via super- insulated conduction wires Thanks to sealy.com for the mattress graphic

The Central Unit receives the converted electrical energy and stores it in a battery. An alarm clock is set by the user for their desired waking time. Around fifteen minutes before the waking alarm goes off, the battery releases the energy into the heating elements, thus bringing the clothing to a nice, comfortable temperature upon waking.

To elaborate, the C.U. is a box that measures about 30 inches wide, 20 inches deep, and 15 inches high. It is small enough to be placed beside or under the user’s bed, but large enough to accommodate a whole day’s wardrobe. Internally, next to where the battery is stored, is the chamber for the clothing, which measures some 20 x 16 x 12. It contains a thick layer of insulation, and opens from a lid on the top by use of a sturdy, comfort-grip handle.

Just think of how good you’ll feel waking up warm! Workers productivity and morale will improve! School children’s attendance and achievement will soar! Society will benefit as a whole!
