Nanotechnology is the science and study of particles at a molecular or atomic level. Manipulation of molecules at the atomic level

All around the globe countries are researching nanotechnology Japan and America have the biggest nanotechnology research projects implemented in the world In 2004, the global investments in Nanotechnology reached $15 billion

Human beings want to be invincible There is a huge desire for a cure to all diseases. If nanotechnology can help end any sort of suffering then why not?

Nanoparticles have huge potential to be vehicles for delivering drugs inside the body. Cells take in Nanoparticles more easily as they are so small. Drugs can be put into the matrix or attached to the surface of Nanoparticles

For lymph node prostate cancer detection Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles are used For targeting gene delivery to Tumors vasculatures polymeric nanoparticles are used.

In the US, for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer the FDA recently approved Abraxane, an albumin–paclitaxel (Taxol®) nanoparticle Overall, nanotechnology offers a more targeted approach and promises significant benefits to cancer patients

Nanotechnology risks are relatively unknown. Nanoparticles can be toxic. 2014 16% of all medical supplies will have come from some form of nanotechnology
