2 APK: What do we already know? A digit is any number 0-9. The largest digit that can be in any place is 9 and the smallest is 0. A digit’s value is affected by its place. Place is where a digit sits in a number. Value is how much the digit is worth.

3 APK: What do we already know? Number Forms 1.Standard Form- number forms Ex: 357.12 2,871.3 2.Expanded Form- showing the number as a sum of the value of its digits. Ex: 300+50+7+1/10+2/100 and 2,000+800+70+1+3/10 3. Written Form- writing a number using words. Ex: three hundred fifty-seven and twelve hundredths two thousand, eight hundred seventy-one and three tenths

4 Super Expanded Form Super Expanded Form is another way to write expanded form. Super Expanded Form uses parentheses to show values of digits in a multiplication sentence. Super Expanded Form uses multiplication and addition to show E (X P A N D E D) + F (O R M).
