How do we convince systems to work together to instill resilience and protect our children and families? What about children’s and families’ right to mental wellness? How do we protect this right?

5 13th Annual Conference Advancing School Mental Health The domain: A community of practice has an identity defined by a shared domain of interest— Shared Agenda or Shared Priority. Membership therefore implies a commitment.

6 13th Annual Conference Advancing School Mental Health The community: Members engage in joint activities, help each other, and share information Learn each other’s language, practice, capabilities, limitations It is all about Relationships

8 Learning is in the relationships between people CoP = Advisory Group, Process Action Team, Work Group – Shared Agenda (Priority), coming together to address issue – Learn from each other, understand what each other brings to the table and each other’s language – Commitment, often blurring of boundaries
