3.  Since we’re talking about embedding, you can only put videos that are already uploaded to the internet  A simple way is via YouTube  Whatever your method, this example will show what you can upload Return to FAQ

4.  Yes, you can! Whether you want to embed a picture slideshow on the website, or a presentation, it can be done!  Just like all things that are embedded, you can only embed a slideshow if it is already uploaded to the internet.  There are several free online slideshow programs, such as slides.com  NOTE: There will be no tutorial on how to use these online slideshow programs in this training; whatever program you choose, look up their tutorials. 5.  Make sure to log in as admin at https://byums.org/admin/ https://byums.org/admin/  In your cms, open the page where you want the video/slideshow embedded. Return to FAQ

6.  Begin embedding by selecting “IFrame” Return to FAQ

7.  A properties box will appear, our main goal is to fill out the “URL” box with a link to your video/slideshow Return to FAQ

8.  Find your video online. Return to FAQ

9.  Below YouTube videos is a “Share” button. Select this and then “Embed”  After “src=”copy all text between the quotations. Return to FAQ

10.  Each slideshow website is a little different in how you access the embed link; we will use slides.com  While in Editing mode, find the share button.  Open the “Embed” tab, and copy the link.

11.  It is important to note that some slideshow websites will have the iframe option already coded into the embed link (slides.com is one such example)  You can tell this is the case if you see, in the link that you copy, that the first phrase is ”<iframe src=”  If this is the case, paste the link into a word document, then recopy only the part of the link that directly follows the “<iframe src=“. This part should be in quotations; see an example of this part (highlighted) below: Return to FAQ

12.  Simply paste that text under “URL” and press OK!  Your video or slideshow is now posted here!  Click “Preview” to see the frame with it’s video/slideshow picture.  Add numbers to Width and Height and customize to your heart’s content. Return to FAQ
