2 Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Use of broadcasting tools on class sites Take pictures and videos of class work and put into libraries on the class site for viewing. Within 2 weeks take pictures then update with a few photos each week. All class sites to have videos and pictures displayed and updated regularly. Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Class Calendar All children to add their Birthdays to the class Calendar. First day back after Summer break / Christmas / Easter. All children to add birthday to calendar. Parents to access along side their children and encourage to discuss what they have been doing at school.

3 Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Include a discussion in one area of learning each week for children to complete outside of the lesson. Beginning of each week or fortnightly. Weekly discussion contributed by at least 2/3rds of the class from outside the classroom. Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Start a weekly blog with the children about what we have learnt each week, progressing to daily blog if appropriate. Start this on 2nd week back and work on up until end of term. Blogs updated weekly or more on all class sites. Area of focus Use of discussions and Blogs on class sites

4 Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Survey Create a survey as part of learning, assessment of children or data gathering. Create and use 2 Surveys before ½ term. All children to complete a survey in either a lesson or at home. Teacher to gather data for future learning. Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Wiki Start a class wiki with all children writing a page about themselves. Created during term time, e.g. in the 4th term as part of ICT/PSHE lesson. All children to create their own page and add to it in their own time.

5 Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Staff Announcements/ Email Staff to use announcements or email for messages. Ongoing, regular use. Reduce the amount of notes being passed round. Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Staff Calendar Staff Calendar to be updated regularly by either head or school admin. All staff to check calendar regularly – no hard copy will be produced. Calendar will be up and running from 1st day of term. All staff using staff area for communication. No weekly notices/planner is reduced.

From 1st Day Back – Ongoing. Senior leadership group to have uploaded all recent policies. From 1st Day Back – Ongoing. All staff to have uploaded planning to library – checked by senior leadership group.

School Champion to lead a training session with Governors. Minimise the need for paperwork to be sent out in post. Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Use of Governor site for communication and paperwork Headteacher and school admin team to populate Governor site accordingly. School Champion to lead a training session with Governors. All Governors accessing site, to access appropriate documents and communication.

8 Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Use of homework drop box in class sites Years 5 & 6, pick 2 topics per term where homework and then uploaded to drop box. This could be any type of file depending on project, e.g. Movie of their science experiment at home. Termly Staff meeting/training session on how to use homework drop box. Children to have at least one piece of work each term uploaded to their class homework drop box. Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Use of homework drop box in class sites Years 3 & 4 to start a termly research project which the children complete in their own time and then put into homework drop box when completed. You could use office application for this.. Termly Staff meeting/training session on how to use homework drop box. Children to have at least one piece of work each term uploaded to their class homework drop box.

9 Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Use of Parents site with parental logins Parental site to be populated with appropriate content. Set up parental surveys and discussions. School digital champions to hold parent workshops during Autumn term on using the learning platform. Analyse number of parents logging onto the platform and number of responses to surveys and discussions.

10 Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Use a blog or a wiki for children to write book reviews on books they have read. Year 3 & 4 use a blog to review one book a week. Year 5 & 6 to use their class wiki to review any book they have read. Staff training on how to set up blogs with year 3 & 4 staff. Staff training on how to set up wikis with year 5 & 6 staff. All children regularly updating their wiki or blog with a book review.

11 Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Subject Sites Communication features All departments to use their subject site to display: Announcements / start a department blog about current research or relevant curriculum / add assessment dates. School digital champions to work with departments on training and support. By end a term all departments to have started with two of the above tasks.

12 Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Use of subject sites with cross-curricular maths Staff to use discussions in their subject sites to set mathematical problems related to their subject. Encouraging children to answer regularly. Staff training sessions on how to use discussions. Planning time for departments to come up with ideas for topics. Student regularly answering discussions. Maths department to set up assessment tool for measuring increase in enquiry levels.

13 Area of focus Tasks you could complete Time Scale Success Criteria Subject Sites and Wiki pages - including the page viewer web part Departments to build wiki pages within subject sites to add content for children to access, to include page viewer web parts where staff can digital champions to specific website within the platform. During Summer term staff training on wiki and in particular adding a page viewer. Increase in Attainment levels. Children accessing curriculum content through the learning platform and even adding their own content to help others.
