11  Any product of which the covers are removed must be handled with ESD protection.  The SIM card can be replaced without ESD protection if the product is otherwise ready for use.  To replace the covers ESD protection must be applied.  All electronic parts of the product are susceptible to ESD. Resistors, too, can be damaged by static electricity discharge.  All ESD sensitive parts must be packed in metallized protective bags during shipping and handling outside any ESD Protected Area (EPA).  Every repair action involving opening the product or handling the product components must be done under ESD protection.  ESD protected spare part packages MUST NOT be opened/closed out of an ESD Protected Area. 47 Software Process C181 2 ) After decompression as shown below, including USB drives, write, and upgrade tool, please send shortcut "S/W Downloader" to the desktop 3 ) Click on the desktop shortcut to run "S/W Downloader" to upgrade software, then select the CPU chip type, and enter the relevant Settings

48 Software Process C181 4) Click “Settings” then you can see as below : No need to set, just check whether it is same as below image. Keep it as default. )

49 Software Process C181 4 ) The method of changing a single serial port to serial port upgrade: change directory Dload Config. Ini file. There are two points need to take care : A ) Must open S/W Dloader and press “Start Download”, then quit it will produce below ini configuration file. B ) Must close S/W Dloader, then change and save it. Otherwise it is useless.

51 Software Process C181 6 ) Press “Start Download” to start downloading : 7 ) Power on handset, dial *#37*# , then we can check the SW version, check whether it is same as the SW we downloading.
