3 The enjoyment of physical education comes from challenging yourself physically and rising to meet that challenge. Also achieving success at a new or newly acquired skill through practice and performance, social interaction, an improvement in physical fitness and friendly competition and cooperation in activities. The student should also develop an appreciation of the values of fitness and have adequate information to form a basis for starting and continuing a lifetime fitness program.

4 Dressing Out & Participation Dressing Out- There is a required uniform consisting of shorts and T-shirt ( Purchase from The Stampede) socks and tennis shoes. Improper dress will result in the deduction of points (1-3) from the daily grade. 9 NON-PARTICIPATION Non- Participation- Occasionally there is legitimate reasons why a student cannot participate fully in the activity. A written doctor’s note is required for long term conditions (over 3 days). A parent’s note is needed for short-term disabilities. All daily points missed during this period are recorded as zeros until the student makes up the daily work. If a student is out over 3 weeks, an alternative will be discussed on an individual basis. 10 CLASSROOM RULES No Cell phones, backpacks or IPods. Cell phone use during class time is NOT allowed! Cell phones may only be used during passing periods and lunch time.
