4 This holder is for the 9 Volt battery for operating the solenoid. (SOLO) Care must be given so as to not allow water to enter the housing during battery changes. The polarity marker for the + side is shown. Replace this battery once it drops to 7.5 volts. Jim Wyatt-November 2015

5 This holder is for the AA battery for the Heads Up Display (OBOE Board). Polarity is indicated on the outside of the housing. Be careful to allow no water into the housing when changing batteries. The HUD calibration data is stored inside this holder on the OBOE Board. Jim Wyatt-November 2015

8 The colored wires come from the molex connections on the oxygen cells. These are banana type connectors. The yellow wire is signal input to the solenoid telling it to open when energized.

20 The following two slides are an example of a simple O2ptima rebreather dive. In the Shearwater Predator manual is also an example of a complex rebreather dive that includes multiple gasses and a bailout scenario. Users are encouraged to read and understand the screens for the complex dive as well. However please note, this is beyond the scope of the entry level air diluent class.

35 Mode is not changeable. Salinity is changeable. Low and High SP are changeable but we will leave them as shown for this class.
