5 D EFINITIONS Curriculum – The program you are designing for student participation and learning. Example: Pathways for First Year Students Example: Student Organization Leadership Certificate Example: Career Development Domain – What are the learning objectives of the program Ex. Knowledge, Cognitive, Intrapersonal, Interpersonal, Practical Competence, Humanitarian & Civic Engagement, etc. Items – What a student needs to do to progress along the path of completion of the curriculum Attend campus event Participate in a workshop/speaker series Take a specific course (FYS, Study skills, Biology 101, etc) Join a student organization Volunteer within the community
