Symptom is heart burn, & this is the commonest cause of unexplained chest pain. Achalasia LES fails in receptive relaxation, so bolus gets held up in esophagus. Dysphagia Difficulty in swallowing. Esophageal muscles contract in a uncoordinated manner, may be due to neural disorders.
