1 Palau Women and Sports Commission 2011 Highlights and Activities Logo – Toluk is made out of turtle shell used as money offering for customary obligations. Rur is considered a national flower found in abundance at the rock islands of Palau. Our logo, symbolizes women’s wealth, strength and our presence in the community.

2 Vision & Objectives Vision : To promote optimum opportunity and involvement of women at all levels, in sport and all levels of community services.Vision : To promote optimum opportunity and involvement of women at all levels, in sport and all levels of community services. 1.Objectives: our (16) sixteen objectives but to mention the first five; To develop awareness and sport for women of all ages. 2.To promote the recognition of women’s involvement in sport as a contribution to public life, community development and in building a healthy nation. 3.To promote the recognition by women of the intrinsic value of sport and its contribution to personal development and healthy lifestyles. 4.To foster friendly relations amongst different sport federations & associations. 5.To encourage community involvement in the empowerment of women in sport.
