My name is Veronica Juarez I have been teaching early child care for seventeen years My first job was in 1998-2003 at Sweet Dreams day care. Then I worked a head teacher at Kristy-lin’s Daycare on 2003-2008. Now I'm the head teacher at Camilo Prada Daycare 2008- still. I received my bachelor degree in early childhood education in 2013. I'm applying for the head teacher in kinder class.

 My philosophy is to provide a classroom environment where students are encouraged to express their ideas and participate in their education experience. Educate children in social, emotional, cognitive, and language development. Develop an appropriate learning environment that promotes the development through play. I want my students to enjoy the in the diverse backgrounds of to enable them to bring to the classroom a variety of ideas relating to the class material. I want my students to feel that my classroom is a discussion room where they can share their ideas about the subject matter and contribute to the educational experience. My goals in teaching are not just to promote learning but also try to help the students learn how to problem- solve, to learn methods and techniques, and improve fine motor skills.

 The goal in my classroom would be to have more than half of my students reading by the end of the school year. Have them learn letters and number recognition. Help the children with sight words, rhyming, problem-solving, and fine motor skills. I teach the four and five-year-olds. My rules and expectations are they need to follow and participate in our classroom activities and routines. Having a set of rules or procedures that covers every classroom misbehavior or disruption is unreasonable and impossible. Something unexpected will always come up in the classroom. The list of rules or expectations that you create with or without student input should be easily manageable. The rules must be reasonable, positively worded, enforceable, and integrated into your classroom systems (Burden, 2006; Grossman, 2004; Kerr &Nelson, 2006; Maag, 2004) Children learn through play. They have to take turns and share the school items. Participate in circle time, body movement time and story time. In the classroom, the role I play is to make the day go smoothly and for the student to learn. I need to make sure to avoid any accidents and any arguments. As the teacher, I need to make learning fun. While reading a book, I need to grasp the children's attention by changing my tone of voice and making different face expressions. The implementation plan in my classroom will be my lesson plan. In the lesson plan, I will have the activities for the week, and the books read related to the theme. In the lesson plan, there will be objectives for every child to master. The art crafts and fire drills will also be including in the lesson plan.

 By having a successful classroom management plan. I will provide the name tags management system. Each child will have their name tag to go and paly in the areas. In each area, there will only be a certain number of children playing. When the area is full, the child has to look for another area to play. I will provide the classroom rules and routine for the children to see every day.

 The school model that I recommend is students need to implement developing in critical-thinking, problem- solving, and analytical skills. Students need to be successful in applying this skill for fostering creativity. By providing the core skills of reading, writing, and math are essential to have in the 21st century. Students need passion and freedom to be creative.

 The lesson plan designed for the child's learning objective. It should include the items that are going to be places in every area. They should follow all the three “P” play, purpose, and projects. The lesson plan should also include books related to the theme and activities done during the week. It should also include any drills for the month and classroom projects.

 The first time the child is being assets, they don’t know why they are being ask so many questions. I just tell them we are playing a game. That make the child a little more comfortable, and they are having fun. The center use to have nurse aids to come and assets the Denver screening but that only made the child nervous, and they would shut down causing them to fail the screening. If the teacher had made notations or have activities that prove, the child could name five colors they will give them credit. There are some children that shut down even if it’s the teacher asking them the questions. That’s why the teacher has to have a lot of notes, documentation, activities to prove if the child can pass the assessment.

 The importance of having continual learning helps the student to catch up or to keep up the education. By letting the students continue their education will help them improve every skill they are lacking. The way I would weigh prioritizing in teacher knowledge for student's teachers need to know and understand what they are teaching the students. Teachers need to prepare a lesson plan that is going to provide critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. It is just as important to ensure that teachers are continually learning, just as they teach the students. Teacher should continue learning by attending training and workshops they need to keep up with all new research that is being done. Teachers need to improve and lookup for new ideas in teaching the children. The same priority can’t be placed a teacher to learn as the student is learning. Teacher already has their certification and teaching degree. But they still need to keep up with twenty-first century.

 I can consider myself as a professional learning by sharing resource with others. As a teacher, I can support and share information with others that need the help. I always let my coworkers know that my door is always open if they ever need anything. Provide others with instructional specialist support. I can be very helpful when it comes to with speech delay. Last year I had a student that was in foster care and was very shy. I gave her lots of one to one and comfort. By the end of the school year, her vocabulary was improved. I can provide a curriculum that develops knowledge with charts, and assessment. I can be a classroom supporter, help teachers to collaborate in lesson plan and help them with feedback. I can be a learning facilitator and help with committees meeting and other activities. I have been a mentor in my previous school. I can show support and guide new staff. I consider myself as a school leader. I take my job seriously, and I care about the staff and the students. Being a professional learning teacher will help me to help others and guide them to the success in our future.
