 Generally in the ivf procedure, the sperm and the egg are kept for fertilization inside the body of a woman. When the fertilized egg is attached to the womb’s lining and continuously keeps growing, a healthy baby is born in about 9 months. This complete cycle is called unassisted or the natural conception. IVF procedure in a way a method of ART (assisted reproductive technology). This basically means that a medical technique on special basis is used to help the women get pregnant. Its most often tested when the other (less expensive) fertilities and techniques have drastically failed.

 There are 5 major steps to the IVF procedure: stimulation, also called super ovulation of the medical sciences the medicines also called fertility drugs and is given to the treated woman in order to boost the egg production and protection. Generally, the woman makes each egg per month. This ivf procedure of fertility drugs tells the patient that the ovary of the women to produce varies eggs. The sperm of a man is generally placed together with the eggs of best quality. The mixing of the sperm and egg is called insemination. Sperm and eggs are then finally stored in an environment with well controlled chamber.

 The sperm often enters the fertilised egg in some time after insemination. When the doctor realizes the chances of fertilization are low, the sperm may be directly or indirectly injected into the fertilised egg. This procedure is called ICSI. Various fertility routines regularly do ICSI on some of the eggs, even if things look normal. When the egg (fertilised) is divided, it apparently becomes an embryo.  Laboratory staff will regularly check the embryo to assure that it is increasing in a proper ways properly. In 5 days, a casual embryo has various cells that are alively dividing. Couples who have more risk of getting carried in a genetic disorder because a baby is maybe considered a pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).

 The procedure is done about 3 - 4 days after fertilization. Laboratory scientists remove a single cell from each embryo and screen the material for specific genetic disorders. As per the Society of America for Reproductive Medicine, ivf procedure helps young parents decide on which embryos to implant. This decreases the chance of passing a disorder onto a child.

 The technique is not only controversial buy also not offered at all centers. The studies of Medical sciences have been continuously showing that so far the drugs of fertility are not linked to ovarian cancer. A woman undergoing the medication of fertility may have been bloating, mood swings, abdominal pain, headaches, and several other side effects. After the complete procedure of embryo transfer, chances are the female is told to be bed rest for the remaining day. Although complete bed rest is not mandatory but again unless there is a determined amount of risk, most women get to do normal activities the next day. IVF procedure involves a large amount of physical energy, emotional energy, lots of time and sufficient money. Several couples dealing with infertility suffer from different levels of stress and depression. The best way to deal with this depression is to be positive throughout your treatment and trust the doctors.
