2 What is a flipped classroom? Reverses the traditional setup of notes in class and practice for homework At home: Students are watching, listening and writing down the notes for the lesson In class: Students are completing the practice problems, application, and projects.

8 Creating your flipped lessons 1.Create notes/lesson using presentation software 2.Record the lesson via screencast 3.Host the video on a learning management system (lms), website, or blog Tips when creating your lessons: - Make sure you have a way for students to provide evidence that they watched the video. - Keep it short and to the point - Show your personality - Don't be afraid to make mistakes and hear your own voice.
