3 Overview JCI Philippines membership has declined for the past two years. Although a decrease was still realized in 2006, the membership decrease has been minimized last year. The target growth of 5% to be realized in the next three years Significantly, the NOM must conduct aggressive membership recruitment to augment its income from dues. Conducts fund raising activities to produce extra income from projects to generate extra funds to bridge the gap in the payment of its JCI dues and its administrative operations. LOMs that have great potentials in developing their membership base have yet to maximized their capacity to reach out to potential members. Give incentives to all the LOMs that can have 50% increase in their membership Extra effort must done in campaigning for more corporate sponsors for the NOM flagship projects Tying up with local and national government especially high ranking government officials for NOM projects must be maximized.

5 JCI Philippines GOAL 1 (Fundraising) To encourage all the LOMs to support the fundraising activities of the NOM ACTION  Established new tie ups with potential corporate partners for NOM flagship projects  Conduct exploratory talks to past national officers and JCI Senators to help in seeking corporate sponsors  Conduct concert and car raffle series, etc.  Increase participation in community programs and partnership to business entities for fundraising purposes.  Provide incentives to LOMs that can spearhead fundraising projects for the NOM.

6 JCI Philippines GOAL 2 (Marketing) To ensure all LOMs adopt & implement the ff: NOM programs as a tool for MARKETING purposes for the organization like the TOYM, TOPP, TOCP JC Week, YLEA and other flagship projects as well as those of JCI like Best Business Plan, JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons, JCI Business Networking Event, Speaking Competition etc, and the JCI Awards Program. ACTION  Provide incentives thru the efficiency program to LOMs which will implement the NOM programs and projects to create awareness to the community.  Encourage LOMs to participate in the JCI Best Business Plan Competition and other JCI projects.  Inform National Board and LOMs about JCI’s programs, and monitor their progress in implementing these programs  Coordinate and help the LOMs regarding the implementation of all the NOM projects and its promotion thru media.

7 JCI Philippines GOAL 3 (Training)  To ensure effective and efficient management of training to local organizations (LOMs). ACTION  Provide support to JCI Philippines Academy  Ensure that all members to be exposed to trainings  Coordinate with JCI University and encourage members to avail international training.  Utilize the JCI Phils. Efficiency Program to gauge the support of the LOMs

8 JCI Philippines GOAL 5 (Membership) Provide tools for Local Organizations (LOM) to ensure Recruitment, Retention and Improve Services. ACTION  Standardize recruitment materials & JCI Philippines fact sheets  Spearhead research and development of a comprehensive “Guide to Create a Local Organization” which shall form part of the NOM recruitment kit  Established new strategies in membership recruitment  Conduct exploratory talks to past national officers and JCI Senators in their locality for possible extension of LOMs.  Re-establish LOMs that have inactive for quite sometime  Increase participation in community programs and partnership to business entities for community awareness to attract potential member.  Provide incentives to LOMs that can extend LOMS and to maximized their membership retention.

9 JCI Philippines GOAL 5 ( Effective Communication )  To implement the establishment of Satellite Offices or LOM Secretariats in most all the LOMs under the leadership of NEVPs. ACTION Encourage leading LOM Secretariats to share best practices with developing ones Establish effective communication between LOM Secretariats and NOM headquarter as well as JCI GHQ. Develop website that is complete with all the necessary administrative tools and necessary information. Encourage all the LOMs to have their own website Encourage on-ljne chat for interaction with all the members
