Providing this information requires asset managers to have the right data and measures, as well as the confidence to say they don’t know. Data standards – why?

19. Data standard – so what does Meta-Data-Standard mean? From Wikipedia: Metadata standards are requirements which are intended to establish a common understanding of the meaning or semantics of the data, to ensure correct and proper use and interpretation of the data by its owners and users.
