PRESENTED BY:- P.SREENIVASULU ROLL NO:-12AT5A0420 IV-B.Tech ECE.

The car, which is embedded, can simulate the human driver completely and direct the vehicle on the road. Autonomous vehicle is the drastic change in technical brilliance and developments in different fields.

VEHICLE TRACKING SATELLITE NAVIGATION MOBILE DATA AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION WIRELESS VEHICLE SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS EMERGENCY WARNING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES INTELLIGIENT VEHICLE TECHNOLOGIES

Vehicle trackingVehicle tracking is a way of monitoring the location, movements, status and behavior of a vehicle or fleet of vehicles. Satellite navigation in the context of vehicle telematics is the technology of using a GPS and electronic mapping tool to enable the driver of a vehicle to locate a position, then route plan and navigate a journey

These devices can be fitted solely for use while in the vehicle (Fixed Data Terminal) or for use in and out of the vehicle (Mobile Data Terminal) Mobile data can be used to receive TV channels and programs, in a similar way to mobile phones, but using LCD TV devices i.e,3-G Technology.LCD TV

Wireless units will be installed in vehicles and emergency call boxes along the road like sos phones Sensors in the cars will provide the information, which will be displayed to the driversdisplayed to the drivers As Cars and trucks with the wireless system connected to their brakes When any column member slows down, all those behind it will automatically slow also.

In ground applications, intelligent vehicle technologies are utilized for safety and commercial communications between vehicles or between a vehicle and a sensor along the road The finger print technologies have been introduced to enter and start your car with the touch of a finger.

Connected to gps and navigation map shown START Finger Print Recognition Spark in engine ignites Car shut down and doors are locked Enter the destination At t=0sec; speed=0km/hr t=t+5sec; speed=30km/hr T=t+15sec; speed=70km/hr It intimates to the owner Mode of operation It take cares all the things It gives assistance to the driver Sensors It takes appropriate action Not matched Manual automatic active matched The Control Flow of Atmel 8 bit AVR microcontroller, specifically the AT90S8535 used in the autonomous car

ADVANTAGES 1.ACC TECHNOLOGY 2.ADVANCED AND DIFFERENT COMMUNICATIONS 3.COMPLETELY SECURE 4.PRE SAFE SYSTEMS

ACC Technology  The Adaptive Cruise Control(ACC) technology is used to calculate the speed of the car  The driver can set the speed of car and distance between his and other cars to avoid the collisions.  When traffic slows down vehicle speed is altered using moderate braking to maintain a constant distance between his and other cars.

Advanced intelligence  In advanced systems if the driver is not able to drive under any condition then simply load the destination into the GPS device  Then the car will take you to the desired destination.  So, right from brakes to fuel level the intelligence takes over with minimum risk to the driver.

Completely secure When any thief enters, The car doesn’t start as the finger prints doesn’t match. Then the computer locks the steering wheel, cuts off the fuel supply and also locks the doors automatically… Then signal is sent to owner

Pre-safe systems Pre-safe systems sense possible collisions in advance based on the actions performed to protect ourselves at the time of accident such as emergency braking, skidding etc. It automatically moves the front seat either backward or forward for the safest distance from the instrument panel, adjusts the seat belt for the correct tension

BARRIERS FOR AUTONOMOUS CAR  High initial cost due to extensive use of GPS  The satellites used for GPS does not work effectively during eclipses  The accuracy of the sensors not up to the mark during the unfavorable climatic conditions  Fuel efficiency is comparatively low to the current generation vehicles

 The science of Telecommunications and informatics applied in wireless technologies and Computational system.  Telematics is a technology, when we use this technology in automobiles it is known as Vehicular Telematics.  It refers to automation in automobiles such as the invention of emergency warning system for vehicles. GPS navigation, integrated hands-free cell phones, wireless safety communications and automation driving assistance systems.

HFCK (HANDS FREE CAR KIT) Mistral software, which was developed in India, has text-to-speech and speech recognition technologies. It offer users complete hands-free operation to make or receive calls on GSM mobile. So whenever you want to attend a call in your car just switch on this device and talk hands free without any type of risk

ARRAY MICROPHONE Another device called the array microphone which is being manufactured by andrea industries cuts off the surrounding noise and allows the speaker to communicate effectively. The person at the other end hears the voice of the speaker without any outside interference.

Future of Autonomous Car Due to speed control technique, accident free driving and fuel savage is made possible, which will make the car to travel through shortest path. When the Designers concentrate in developing more and more vehicles the cost of manufacturing decreases which becomes affordable for the customers

A JOURNEY IN AUTONOMOUS CAR IS A JOURNEY OF LIFE IN SAFE HANDS…….
