18 Software development Evaluation different languages for new DAQ functionality – C++ – Java – Script language 1.System consists of Master and Slave processes. 2.Master starts slave processes on distributed computers according to configuration information stored in MySQL or XML. It would be an advantage to have common configuration format for all three languages. 3.Master module broadcasts event header information with certain frequency 4.The slaves send back a message confirming received header. 5.The master receives the messages and measures the latency between issued header message and received slave confirmation. 28-29 April 2011 PANDA DAQ/FEE WS Игорь Коноров18
