7. Every year, we host a Step Show; it keeps getting bigger and better. Middle school and high school teams from all over the Chicago and south suburban area participate. Next to our College Tour, this is one of the biggest events of the year.

COLLEGE TOUR Our goal is for you to push yourself to Pursue Academic Excellence The entire college tour experience is about learning more about yourself, your history, making new friendships and exploring your future options. Students from African-American clubs at all 3 district schools are eligible.

9. Spelman College Spelman College is a premier historically Black college (HBCU) located in Atlanta, Georgia for women and one of the finest institutions for undergraduate education nationwide. We toured Spelman’s campus and ate lunch while there.

10. Morehouse College Tour Our male college tour participants are engaged in the tour and learning more about what Morehouse has to offer.

11. Clark Atlanta University Clark Atlanta University (CAU) is a private, co-ed, historically black university (HBCU) in Atlanta, Georgia. It was formed in 1988 with the consolidation of Clark College and Atlanta University.
